After completing his medical degree at the University of Auckland and General Surgery training in New Zealand, Adam undertook a fellowship in HPB and Transplant Surgery at King’s College, London. Adam was appointed to a joint clinical and academic position as an adult and paediatric liver transplant and HPB surgeon at Auckland City Hospital and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at The University of Auckland in 2008. Since 2019 Adam’s primary focus has been on HPB Surgery and currently he works in public and private as a General, Laparoscopic and HPB surgeon.
