Dr Mark Brooke-Smith

National Faculty – Pancreatic theme

Dr Mark Brooke-Smith obtained his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Adelaide and during his general surgical fellowship training in Adelaide, South Australia, completed his PhD at Flinders University, researching acute pancreatitis. Post fellowship HPB, Transplant and ERCP training was undertaken in South Australia at Flinders Medical Centre and also in the United Kingdom at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

He is currently the Head of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery at Flinders Medical Centre and Senior Consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
