Professor Paul Moroz

National Faculty – Hepatic Theme

Dr Paul Moroz is a surgical oncologist in Perth, Western Australia specialising in peritonectomy and hepatobiliary surgery, having completed post-fellowship training in these specialties at St George Hospital, Sydney in 2007. Dr Moroz was Professor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia from 2010 to 2016, and since 2013 has been the director of the Western Australian Peritonectomy Service.

Dr Moroz is currently engaged in research pertaining to the development of Ferromagnetic Embolization Hyperthermia for the treatment of liver cancer, the development of implantable thermoelectric batteries for medical devices and physio-chemical treatment systems for haematologic disorders based on supramolecular chemistry and electromagnetic radiation.
